Levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg
Allergic rhinitis (seasonal/perennial), sneezing, runny/blocked nose, itchy/watery eyes, urticaria (hives) and other allergic skin conditions
Levocetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine. It blocks H1 histamine receptors, reducing allergic symptoms such as itching, sneezing, rhinorrhoea and hives, with relatively less sedation than older antihistamines.
Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed, usually once daily (often in the evening). Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

May cause drowsiness in some people; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Use with caution in kidney disease (dose adjustment may be needed); inform your doctor if you have urinary retention/prostate enlargement. Stop and seek medical help if you develop severe allergic reaction, swelling of face/lips, or breathing difficulty.
