Used for self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) in people with diabetes; helps monitor glucose trends and guide diet, exercise and antidiabetic therapy as advised by a doctor.

The strip contains enzymes/chemicals that react with glucose in a small blood sample. The compatible glucometer measures the resulting electrical/optical signal and displays a blood glucose reading.

For external use with a compatible AccuSure glucometer only. Wash and dry hands, insert strip into meter, prick fingertip with a lancing device, apply a small drop of blood to the strip as per meter instructions, and note the reading. Use a new strip each time; do not reuse. Check expiry date and use immediately after removing from container.

Pain at finger prick site, bruising, minor bleeding, local infection (rare)

For in‑vitro diagnostic use only; not for oral use. Use only with the compatible meter model—incorrect pairing can give wrong results. Do not use expired, damaged, or wet strips. Keep strips away from moisture/heat; close cap immediately after removing a strip. Certain conditions/substances (e.g., poor circulation, dehydration, very high/low hematocrit, interfering sugars/medicines depending on strip chemistry) may affect accuracy—refer to device/strip IFU. Seek medical advice for symptoms of hypo/hyperglycaemia despite readings.

Not a medicine. Results may be affected by interfering substances depending on strip chemistry (refer to product insert), e.g., high uric acid, acetaminophen/paracetamol, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), maltose/galactose/xylose in some strip systems, abnormal hematocrit, dehydration.

Store in original vial/foil at room temperature (typically 5–30°C), away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Do not refrigerate/freeze unless stated in the insert. Keep container tightly closed; use strips promptly after opening.
