B Crip 2.5mg Tablet is a dopamine receptor agonist. It decreases the release of prolactin (milk hormone) in the body. Overproduction of this hormone is associated with abnormal production of breast milk as well as suppression of the sexual glands, which can cause infertility. Reducing prolactin levels with B Crip 2.5mg Tablet can therefore improve these conditions. In acromegaly, it works by lowering the amount of growth hormone in the body.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. B Crip 2.5mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take a hormonal medicine at the same time every day; the effect depends on a steady level. Seek urgent care for sudden chest pain, breathlessness, severe headache, weakness on one side, or pain and swelling in a calf — hormone preparations can raise the risk of clots. Tell your doctor if you smoke, have migraine with aura, high blood pressure, or a family history of clots or breast cancer, before starting. Report any unusual or heavy vaginal bleeding to your doctor.

Rifampicin, several anti-epileptics and St John's wort make hormonal contraception unreliable. Tell your doctor about every medicine, supplement and herbal product you take.
