Dolonex DT 20 Tablet

Dolonex Dt 20 Tablet contains Piroxicam (20mg).

Relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other musculoskeletal pain conditions.

Piroxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis. This lowers inflammation, pain, and swelling.

Take as prescribed, usually once daily. Disperse the tablet in a small amount of water and drink immediately, preferably after food to reduce stomach upset. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Acidity, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, edema

May cause gastric ulcer/bleeding; risk increases with age, alcohol, smoking, history of ulcers, and with anticoagulants/steroids. Use with caution in kidney, liver, or heart disease and in hypertension. Avoid in active peptic ulcer, severe heart failure, and late pregnancy. Seek help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain, or breathing difficulty.

Anticoagulants (warfarin), antiplatelets (aspirin, clopidogrel), other NSAIDs, corticosteroids, SSRIs/SNRIs (bleeding risk), ACE inhibitors/ARBs and diuretics (kidney risk), lithium, methotrexate
