Female infertility

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label before use. Ovaa Shield Combipack may be taken with or without food.

Ovaa Shield Combipack is a combination of three medicines: Acetylcysteine, Astaxanthin and Clomiphene which treat female infertility. Acetylcysteine is a mucolytic. It works by counteracting the harmful effect of Acetylcysteine on the cervical mucus (protective fluid in the uterus). Astaxanthin is an antioxidant which protects the body from damage by chemicals (free radicals) that cause infertility. Clomiphene is a partial estrogen agonist which works by stimulating the release of eggs from the ovary (ovulation).

See a doctor if a cough lasts more than a week, or comes with fever, breathlessness, chest pain or blood in the sputum. Do not give cough and cold preparations to young children except on a doctor's advice. Do not combine two cough preparations — they frequently contain the same ingredients, and the doses add up. Preparations containing codeine can cause dependence and must be used only for the period your doctor specifies. A supplement supports a normal diet; it does not prevent or treat infection. Zinc on an empty stomach commonly causes nausea — take it with food. Very high doses of vitamin A over a long period can be harmful, particularly in pregnancy. Do not take several products containing the same nutrient at once; the totals add up. Take a hormonal medicine at the same time every day; the effect depends on a steady level. Seek urgent care for sudden chest pain, breathlessness, severe headache, weakness on one side, or pain and swelling in a calf — hormone preparations can raise the risk of clots. Tell your doctor if you smoke, have migraine with aura, high blood pressure, or a family history of clots or breast cancer, before starting. Report any unusual or heavy vaginal bleeding to your doctor.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the combipack tightly closed and out of reach of children.
