How It Works
Chlorhexidine is a broad-spectrum antiseptic that disrupts microbial cell membranes and has residual antibacterial action on skin. Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium compound that damages cell membranes and enhances cleansing and antimicrobial activity.
Directions for Use
For external use only. Wet hands, take sufficient handwash, lather well over palms, back of hands, between fingers and under nails for at least 20 seconds, then rinse thoroughly and dry. Use as required; avoid contact with eyes.
External use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water. Do not use on deep wounds, large areas of broken skin, or severe burns unless advised by a doctor. Discontinue and seek medical advice if irritation or allergic reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of children; do not ingest.
Drug Interactions
Do not mix with soaps/anionic detergents as they may reduce chlorhexidine activity; avoid simultaneous use with other topical antiseptics/oxidizing agents on the same area unless advised.
