This medicine is used in the treatment of nutritional deficiency, support during recovery, antioxidant supplementation, burning during urination, urinary tract discomfort, prevention of urinary stones, dietary supplementation, digestive problems, loose motions, restoring gut bacteria and stomach protection.

Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with or after food. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

This medicine combines 6 active ingredients: Vitamin c, Vitamin e, D-mannose, Rosemary Extract, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus and Lactobacillus Reuteri. Vitamin c supplies a nutrient that helps protect body cells from everyday oxidative wear and supports normal immune function. Vitamin e supplies a nutrient that helps protect body cells from everyday oxidative wear and supports normal immune function. D-mannose makes the urine less acidic, which eases burning and discomfort while passing urine. Rosemary Extract supplies a vitamin, mineral or nutrient that your diet may not be providing in sufficient amount. Lactobacillus Rhamnosus supports the lining and the natural bacteria of the gut, helping digestion settle back to normal. A supplement supports a normal diet; it does not prevent or treat infection. Zinc on an empty stomach commonly causes nausea — take it with food. Very high doses of vitamin A over a long period can be harmful, particularly in pregnancy. Do not take several products containing the same nutrient at once; the totals add up. This eases the symptoms; it does not treat a urinary infection. See a doctor if you have fever, back or flank pain, blood in the urine, or symptoms lasting more than a couple of days — an infection needs an antibiotic. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, heart failure or are on a salt-restricted diet; these preparations carry a sodium or potassium load. A supplement is not a substitute for a balanced diet or for treating the cause of a symptom. Iron makes stools black and can cause constipation — this is expected, but tell your doctor if it troubles you. Keep iron-containing products well out of reach of children; an overdose in a small child is a medical emergency. Check the labels of everything you take so you do not double up on the same nutrient. Loose motions with high fever, blood in the stool or severe abdominal pain need a doctor, not a home remedy. Oral rehydration salts and fluids matter more than any medicine when you have loose motions — dehydration is the real danger, especially in children and older people. Take a probiotic a couple of hours apart from an antibiotic so the antibiotic does not simply kill it. Do not use an anti-motility medicine such as loperamide if you have a fever or blood in the stool.

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Some probiotic preparations ask to be refrigerated — follow the pack. Keep out of the reach of children.
