Treatment of fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and cutaneous candidiasis as advised by a doctor
Terbinafine is an antifungal that inhibits squalene epoxidase, blocking ergosterol synthesis needed for fungal cell membranes. This leads to fungal cell death and clears the infection.
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer once or twice daily as directed and rub gently. Continue for the full course even if symptoms improve; wash hands after application and avoid covering tightly unless advised.
Burning sensation, itching, redness, irritation, dryness, peeling, rash
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and open wounds; rinse with water if contact occurs. Do not use on broken/oozing skin unless prescribed. Stop and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or allergic reaction occurs. If no improvement in 1–2 weeks or infection is widespread/recurrent, consult a doctor. Use with caution in children, and in pregnancy/breastfeeding only on medical advice; do not apply on breasts before feeding.
No significant interactions expected with topical use; caution if using other topical medicines/irritants on the same area (may increase irritation)
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from heat and direct light. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
