Above 5-D Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Rabeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Above 5-D Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Above 5D than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Above 5D. Some combinations can change how Above 5D works or raise the chance of side effects.

Store Above 5D below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.

Take Above 5-D Capsule one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning. It is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time. Inform your doctor if you experience watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that persists. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days, as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention. Long-term use can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor. Use Above 5-D Capsule with caution if you are taking Methotrexate or certain Antiviral drugs. Always inform your doctor about these treatments so appropriate monitoring or adjustments can be made. Focus on simple eating habits such as having smaller, more frequent meals, avoiding very spicy or oily foods, and not lying down immediately after eating. Try to identify personal trigger foods, as these can vary from person to person. Maintaining a regular meal routine and a healthy weight can also help reduce symptoms over time.
