Albituss Dx Cough Syrup is used for symptomatic relief of dry cough and throat irritation associated with common cold, allergy or upper respiratory tract infections.
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
This cough syrup is typically a combination cough suppressant with an anti-allergic component. It helps reduce the cough reflex and relieves associated throat irritation and allergy symptoms like sneezing or runny nose.
Shake well before use. Take the measured dose by mouth using the provided cup/spoon, usually 2–3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Can be taken with or without food; if stomach upset occurs, take after food. Do not exceed recommended dose.
