Alfuzosin hydrochloride 10 mg (prolonged/extended-release)

Uses of Alfoo Tab

Treatment of signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) such as weak urine stream, difficulty in starting urination, frequent urination, and incomplete bladder emptying.

• •Reduces difficulty in starting urination
• •Decreases urinary frequency and urgency
• •Relieves incomplete bladder emptying
• •Improves quality of life in enlarged prostate

How it works

Alfuzosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that relaxes smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. This reduces urethral resistance and improves urine flow and BPH symptoms.

Directions for use

Oral tablet. Usually taken once daily after the same meal each day (preferably after dinner) as advised by the doctor. Swallow whole; do not crush, chew, or split extended-release tablets.
