Pain relief
Altraflam 100mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Altraflam 100mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Altraflam 100mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Altraflam P than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Altraflam P are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Altraflam P. Some combinations can change how Altraflam P works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Altraflam P below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Take Altraflam 100mg Tablet preferably with food or milk to reduce stomach irritation. Avoid taking it on an empty stomach. Avoid alcohol while taking it, as it may increase the risk of stomach irritation, ulcers, and drowsiness. It may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Stop taking Altraflam 100mg Tablet and seek medical advice if you notice black/tarry stools, vomiting of blood, or severe stomach pain. Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, kidney disease, or liver problems before taking this medicine. Seek medical advice if rash, swelling, or signs of an allergic reaction occur while taking Altraflam 100mg Tablet. Use it for the shortest duration necessary and consult your doctor if pain persists despite treatment. Take Altraflam 100mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and avoid prolonged use unless advised. Long-term or excessive use may increase the risk of stomach bleeding, kidney problems, or other serious complications. Your doctor may monitor kidney, liver, and blood parameters if this medicine is used for long-term treatment.
