Bromhexine (4mg) + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (5mg) + Ammonium Chloride (50mg)

Uses of Ascodex DX Syrup

Cough

• •In Cough Ascodex DX Syrup gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Along with medications
• •drink enough lukewarm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

How it works

Bromhexine, dextromethorphan and ammonium chloride which relieve dry cough. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Ammonium chloride is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways.

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Ascodex DX Syrup may be taken with or without food.
