Uses of Augpen Kid DT

Bacterial infections in children such as ear infections (otitis media), sinusitis, tonsillitis/pharyngitis, lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections

How it works

Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects amoxicillin from enzymatic breakdown, broadening its activity against resistant bacteria.

Directions for use

Dispersible tablet: dissolve the tablet in a small amount of water and give immediately. Dose and duration should be as prescribed by the doctor based on child’s weight and infection severity. Can be taken with food to reduce stomach upset; give doses at evenly spaced intervals and complete the full course.
