Empagliflozin 25 mg + Linagliptin 5 mg tablet
Type 2 diabetes mellitus: adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycaemic control in adults when dual therapy is appropriate (including patients inadequately controlled on either component).
Empagliflozin is an SGLT2 inhibitor that lowers blood sugar by increasing urinary glucose excretion via the kidneys. Linagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases incretin hormones, enhancing insulin release and reducing glucagon secretion in a glucose-dependent manner.
Oral tablet. Usually taken once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water; do not crush unless advised. Dose and duration as prescribed by a doctor; continue diet/exercise and regular glucose monitoring.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Auroempa L 25/5MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Risk of dehydration/low blood pressure and acute kidney injury—maintain fluids; caution in elderly, diuretics, low BP, kidney disease. May increase risk of genital mycotic infections and UTIs; seek care for fever, flank pain, painful urination. Stop and seek urgent care if symptoms of ketoacidosis occur (nausea/vomiting, abdominal pain, rapid breathing) even if sugars are not very high. Rare risk of pancreatitis (persistent severe abdominal pain) and hypersensitivity with linagliptin. Temporarily withhold before major surgery/serious illness or prolonged fasting as advised. Kidney function should be assessed before and during therapy; not recommended in severe renal impairment/ESRD.
