Azovas T 80 Tablet contains Azelnidipine (8mg). It belongs to the Angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) + Thiazide-like diuretic class of medicines.

How Azovas T 80 Tablet works

Azilsartan medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II effects, lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic that increases salt and water excretion, reducing blood volume and BP.

How to take Azovas T 80 Tablet

Take orally as prescribed by the doctor, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water. Regular BP monitoring is advised; do not stop abruptly without medical advice.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Azovas 8mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

A sudden drop in your blood pressure may occur, especially when you first start taking Azovas 8mg Tablet. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It can cause ankle or foot swelling. To reduce the swelling, raise your legs while you are sitting down. Talk to your doctor if it does not go away. It may cause dizziness.
