Aztolet 10 mg Tablet contains Atorvastatin (40mg) + Clopidogrel (75mg).
Heart attack prevention and high cholesterol
Aztolet 40mg/75mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel, which prevents heart attack and stroke.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aztolet 40mg/75mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Aztolet 40mg/75mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Aztolet than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Aztolet are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Aztolet. Some combinations can change how Aztolet works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Aztolet below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
You have been prescribed Aztolet 40mg/75mg Tablet to lower your risk of heart attacks and stroke. Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. It increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, or using sharp objects. Notify your doctor if you are more tired than usual, do not feel hungry, or if you have yellow eyes, skin. Notify your doctor if you experience muscle pain or weakness, particularly if accompanied with fever. Let your doctor know you are taking Aztolet 40mg/75mg Tablet before undergoing any surgical procedure. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
