Dexpanthenol (Provitamin B5) 5% w/w
Relief of itchy, irritated, dry and sensitive skin; supportive care in eczema/atopic dermatitis flare-ups; helps restore skin barrier and moisturize.
Dexpanthenol is converted in the skin to pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), which supports normal skin barrier function and hydration. It acts as a humectant, improving moisture retention and helping soothe irritation and itching associated with dry, sensitive skin.
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1-2 times daily or as directed by a physician. Can be used on clean, dry skin; avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Common side effects of Bepanthen Sensicalm Cream may include:
Stop use and seek medical advice if rash, swelling or worsening irritation occurs. Do not apply on broken/infected skin unless advised by a doctor. Avoid use if allergic to any ingredient. Keep out of reach of children.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Bepanthen Sensicalm Cream. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
