Betamet 50 mg Tablet ER is used in the treatment of chest pain (angina), heart failure and high blood pressure.

How it works

Betamet 50 mg Tablet ER is a long-acting beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Betamet 50 mg Tablet ER may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.<br>Avoid Betamet 50 mg Tablet ER with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.
