Carvedilol 3.125 mg
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), chronic heart failure (as add-on therapy), left ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction (to improve survival and reduce complications)
Carvedilol is a non-selective beta-blocker with additional alpha-1 blocking activity. It reduces heart rate and myocardial oxygen demand and causes vasodilation, which lowers blood pressure and decreases workload on the heart.
Take by mouth as prescribed by your doctor. Preferably take with food to reduce the risk of dizziness/low blood pressure. Swallow tablet whole with water; take at the same time each day and do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
