Topical corticosteroids reduce the release of inflammatory mediators in the skin, decreasing redness, swelling and itching. They also suppress immune activity locally to relieve symptoms in steroid-responsive dermatoses.
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer 1–2 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin; wash hands after application unless treating hands. Do not use under occlusive dressing unless advised.
