Uses of Dipgenta+Cream

Bacterial skin infections

• •In Bacterial skin infections Dipgenta Ointment is an antibiotic and is used to treat skin infections like eczema

• •impetigo (red sores on face)
• •infection in the hair follicle etc. It may also be used to prevent infections in small cuts
• •wounds
• •burns or ulcers on your skin. Apply 2-3 times in a day to get relief from itching
• •swelling and redness caused by infection. You might see a change in your skin appearance in a week if used as prescribed by your doctor. Results might vary from person to person depending on your skin condition. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment to ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

How it works

Dipgenta Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Betamethasone and Gentamicin. Betamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy. Gentamicin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions.
