Divon Gel 10 g contains Diclofenac (1.16% w/w) + Linseed Oil (3% w/w) + Menthol (5% w/w) + Methyl Salicylate (10% w/w). It belongs to the Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and Counter-irritant / topical anti-inflammatory class of medicines.

How Divon Gel 10 g works

Divon Spray is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Menthol and Methyl Salicylate. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linseed Oil is a plant-based oil that further reduces inflammation and improves blood circulation at the site of application. It also increases the penetration of Diclofenac through the skin. Menthol produces a cooling effect on the skin.

How to take Divon Gel 10 g

Hold the container with the extension tube aimed at the area of application. To spray, press the button. Allow a 2 second gap between two consecutive sprays. Use it as advised by your doctor or also check the label for directions before use.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Divon Spray, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can cause stomach bleeding, kidney failure, drowsiness and fits. It is unlikely from skin use, but swallowing these preparations can be serious, particularly in children. Interactions with other medicines

Combining with a blood thinner or aspirin sharply raises the bleeding risk. Reduces the effect of blood pressure medicines and water tablets, and together with them can harm the kidneys. Never take two anti-inflammatory painkillers at the same time. Topical anti-inflammatory gels add to the effect of the same medicine taken by mouth; tell your doctor if you use both.
