Epnone T 10 Tablet is used for treatment of Congestive heart failure post Heart attack Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure).
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated September 2026
Epnone T 10 Tablet contains Eplerenone (25mg) + Torasemide (10mg). It belongs to the Potassium-sparing diuretic and Water tablet class of medicines.
Treatment of Congestive heart failure post Heart attack Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure)
This medicine is a combination of eplerenone and torasemide. They act on different parts of your kidney to remove extra water and certain electrolytes while maintaining the potassium balance in your body. Elimination of extra fluid leads to a reduction in blood volume, causing a drop in elevated blood pressure. It then enables the heart to pump more efficiently.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Epnone T 25mg/10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Epnone T 25mg/10mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
An overdose of this medicine can cause severe dehydration, a sharp fall in blood pressure and dangerous salt imbalances. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
Most side effects of Epnone T are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Take it in the morning so that passing urine does not disturb your sleep. Your doctor will check your salts and kidney function with blood tests — do not skip them. Report muscle cramps, marked weakness, confusion or an irregular heartbeat; these can be signs your potassium or sodium has fallen. In hot weather or during an illness with vomiting or loose motions, tell your doctor — you may become dehydrated quickly. This water tablet keeps potassium rather than losing it. Do not take potassium supplements or salt substitutes with it unless your doctor has told you to.
Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people who are unable to pass urine, or who are severely dehydrated.
Anti-inflammatory painkillers blunt the effect and can strain the kidneys. Lithium and digoxin levels are affected; tell your doctor if you take either. Potassium-sparing types must not be combined with potassium supplements without supervision.
Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
Epnone T 25mg/10mg Tablet helps remove excess water from your body. Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate. It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or engage in any activity that requires concentration until you know how it affects you. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It may cause excessive urine production, dehydration, and low electrolyte levels. Notify your doctor if you experience dizziness, fatigue, or muscle weakness that persists. Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function, and the level of salts such as potassium and sodium in your blood while you're taking this medication.
