Constipation
Fiberlact 10gm Syrup works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, which makes the stool soft and easier to pass.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Fiberlact 10gm Syrup may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Fiberlact 10gm Syrup, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.\n
Taking more Fiberlact than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Fiberlact are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Fiberlact. Some combinations can change how Fiberlact works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Fiberlact below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Fiberlact 10gm Syrup is used for the treatment of constipation. It should preferably be taken at bedtime as it requires 6 to 8 hours to show effect. Some healthy tips to prevent constipation from happening: Eat more fiber in your diet. Recommended daily intake is 20-35g Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day Exercise regularly at least 3 times per week Do not hold in stool as that can worsen bowel issues Take it atleast 2 hours after taking other medicines, as it may interfere with the absorption of other medicines. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach disorders such as appendicitis or a blockage in your bowel.
