How Gastrazine Capsule works

This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Dicyclomine and Dimethicone. Dicyclomine relaxes the muscle in the wall of the gut, relieving the cramping pain of a spasm. Dimethicone neutralises or reduces stomach acid, giving quick relief from burning and indigestion.

How to take Gastrazine Capsule

Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it before meals or when cramps begin. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Missed dose and overdose

Adds to the dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness caused by antihistamines and some antidepressants. Reduces the absorption of thyroid tablets, iron, and several antibiotics — separate them by at least two hours.
