Glevo 750 mg Tablet is used for treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial sinusitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, complicated/uncomplicated urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis), prostatitis, skin and soft tissue infections (as prescribed).

Glevo 750 mg Tablet contains Levofloxacin (750mg). It belongs to the Fluoroquinolone antibiotic class of medicines.
Levofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. This blocks DNA replication and repair, leading to bacterial cell death.

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Prescription-only antibiotic; use only for bacterial infections. Stop and seek medical help if tendon pain/swelling (risk of tendinitis/rupture), severe diarrhea (C. difficile), allergic reaction, numbness/tingling (peripheral neuropathy), seizures/confusion, severe skin rash, palpitations. Use with caution in elderly, kidney impairment (dose adjustment), history of seizures, myasthenia gravis (may worsen), diabetes (risk of hypo/hyperglycemia), QT prolongation/heart rhythm disorders, aortic aneurysm risk. Avoid excessive sunlight/UV. Not recommended in children/adolescents unless specifically advised.
Antacids containing Al/Mg, sucralfate, iron salts, zinc, calcium supplements (reduced absorption); warfarin/other anticoagulants (increased bleeding risk—monitor INR); antiarrhythmics/QT-prolonging drugs (e.g., amiodarone, sotalol, macrolides, antipsychotics) (arrhythmia risk); corticosteroids (increased tendon rupture risk); NSAIDs (may increase seizure risk); antidiabetic medicines/insulin (glucose disturbances); probenecid/cimetidine (may increase levels); theophylline (monitor).
Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Your doctor has prescribed Glevo 750 Tablet to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Discontinue Glevo 750 Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
