Glycinova G2 Forte Tablet SR is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Glimepiride and Metformin. Metformin is a biguanide that works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from the intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.

How to take Glycinova G2

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glycinova G2 Forte Tablet SR should be taken with or after food.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Glycinova G2 Forte Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Your doctor may check your liver function regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms such as abdominal pain, loss of appetite, or yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice).
