Uses of Indikof-C Syrup

Indikof C Syrup is used in the treatment of dry cough.

How it works

Indikof C Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Codeine and Triprolidine, which relieves dry cough. Codeine is a cough suppressant. It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Triprolidine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which may trigger cough due to allergy.

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Indikof C Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
