Composition

Diclofenac Diethylamine 1.16% w/w (equivalent to Diclofenac Sodium 1% w/w), Methyl Salicylate 10% w/w, Menthol 5% w/w, Linseed Oil 3% w/w

Uses of Iodex Pain Balm

Relief of localized muscle and joint pain, sprains and strains, backache, neck/shoulder pain, sports injuries, mild arthritic pain and inflammation.

How it works

Diclofenac reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting COX enzymes and lowering prostaglandin production at the site of application. Methyl salicylate and menthol act as counterirritants, providing a warming/cooling sensation that distracts from pain. Linseed oil may support soothing of sore tissues.

Directions for use

For external use only. Apply a small amount to the affected area and gently massage until absorbed, 3-4 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Wash hands after use; avoid applying on broken/irritated skin and avoid tight bandaging or heat application over the area unless advised.
