Aspartate supports the formation of glutamate, which then combines with ammonia to form glutamine in liver and muscle tissues. Through these urea and glutamine synthesis pathways, L-Ornithine L-Aspartate reduces ammonia accumulation and helps protect brain function in liver disease.
