Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal infections (including enteric fever/typhoid as per susceptibility), skin and soft tissue infections, and septicemia; also used for perioperative prophylaxis where appropriate.

Injection to be administered by a healthcare professional only (IV/IM as prescribed). Dose and duration depend on infection type, severity, kidney function and culture sensitivity. Reconstitute/dilute as per label instructions and use immediately after preparation; complete the full prescribed course.
