Allopurinol (increased risk of rash), probenecid (increases ampicillin levels), methotrexate (reduced clearance/toxicity risk), oral anticoagulants such as warfarin (may increase INR), oral contraceptives (possible reduced efficacy—advise backup), bacteriostatic antibiotics like tetracyclines/chloramphenicol (may reduce efficacy)
