A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Nuforce Dusting Powder. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Nuforce Dusting Powder contains Clotrimazole (1% w/w).
Treatment of Fungal skin infections
Nuforce Dusting Powder is an antifungal medication which treats skin infections. It works by killing the fungi on the skin by destroying their cell membrane.
This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area before application and do not rub.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Nuforce Dusting Powder, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Nuforce Dusting than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Nuforce Dusting. Some combinations can change how Nuforce Dusting works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Nuforce Dusting below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Apply a sufficient amount to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin. Avoid getting it in the eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Inform your doctor if the infection does not clear up even after four weeks of treatment. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. If used topically on the nipple area, wash breasts before feeding your child. Do not apply Nuforce Dusting Powder on cuts or burns. Keep away from children. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Few tips to prevent infection: Keep your feet clean and dry, particularly between the toes. Cut your nails short and prefer open-toe shoes for everyday use. Keep your vagina clean and dry. Use a separate clean towel for the infected area. Take a shower with antifungal soap after gyming or severe sweating. Never share your socks, shoes, and towel with others.
