For capillary blood sampling (finger-prick) to obtain a small blood drop for glucose testing and other point-of-care diagnostic tests
A lancet is a small sterile needle that pricks the skin to create a tiny puncture. This enables collection of a small capillary blood sample for testing.
Use with a compatible lancing device (if applicable) as per device instructions. Wash and dry hands, load a new lancet, prick the side of fingertip, collect blood sample, then safely discard lancet in a sharps container. Single-use only; do not reuse or share.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Poc Blood Lancet Round as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
