Used for capillary blood sampling (finger-prick) for blood glucose monitoring and other point-of-care tests.

A lancet is a sterile, sharp needle designed to puncture the skin to obtain a small capillary blood drop. It enables quick, controlled finger-prick sampling for diagnostic testing.

For external use only. Use with a compatible lancing device if applicable. Clean the puncture site with an alcohol swab and allow to dry, prick as per device instructions, collect the blood sample, then discard the lancet immediately in a sharps container. Do not reuse or share.

Mild pain, pinpoint bleeding, bruising, local redness, swelling, infection (rare)

Single-use only; do not reuse to avoid infection and needle bluntness. Do not use if packaging is opened, damaged, or if sterility is compromised. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of used lancets in an approved sharps container as per biomedical waste guidelines. Use caution in patients with bleeding disorders or on anticoagulants.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in original packaging until use.
