How Riflux Fortz Tablet works

Aluminium hydroxide, dimethicone, and milk of magnesia. Aluminium hydroxide is an inorganic salt that neutralizes the excess acid in the stomach. Dimethicone is an antifoaming medicine that disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas. Milk of magnesia is a laxative that works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, making the stools soft and easier to pass.

How to take Riflux Fortz Tablet

Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Take this medication by mouth. Chew it completely before swallowing, or as directed by your doctor. Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose of Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

It is better to take it after food or as suggested by the doctor. Avoid hot tea, coffee, spicy food, and chocolate. Instead, have cold milk and cold coffee, as these help neutralize the acid in the stomach. Avoid alcohol and smoking, as well as eating late at night or before bedtime. Do not take Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines, as it may interact with other medications. It may cause constipation. Drink plenty of water and eat more high-fiber foods. Inform your doctor if it becomes severe or does not go away. It may take 4-6 weeks or more for the ulcers to heal completely.
