How Rosanz Cv 10 Tablet works

Rosupack-CV Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Rosuvastatin and Clopidogrel, which prevents heart attack and stroke. Rosuvastatin is a lipid lowering medication that blocks the body’s ability to produce “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and improves the level of "good" cholesterol (HDL).Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medication. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.

How to take Rosanz Cv 10 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rosanz CV 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Must not be used in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Not for people with active liver disease. Not for people with active bleeding, a bleeding disorder, or a recent bleed into the brain.

Interactions with other medicines

Grapefruit juice raises the level of some statins — avoid it. Certain antibiotics, antifungals and fibrates increase the risk of muscle damage when combined. Anti-inflammatory painkillers, including over-the-counter ones, sharply raise the bleeding risk. Combining two blood thinners multiplies the risk — never add one yourself. Tell your doctor about all herbal products; several affect clotting.
