Apixaban (2.5mg)
Prevention of atherothrombotic events in adults with coronary artery disease (CAD) and/or peripheral artery disease (PAD) when used with low-dose aspirin; prevention of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction and stroke in eligible high-risk patients as prescribed.
Rivaroxaban is an oral direct Factor Xa inhibitor. It reduces thrombin generation and blood clot formation by blocking Factor Xa in the coagulation cascade, thereby lowering the risk of clot-related cardiovascular events.
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Usually taken orally with water at the same time each day; rivaroxaban 2.5 mg is commonly used with low-dose aspirin. May be taken with or without food. Do not stop or miss doses without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Sanoxaban 2.5 MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Risk of serious bleeding—seek urgent care for unusual bleeding, black stools, vomiting blood, severe headache or weakness. Use with caution in kidney or liver impairment, history of bleeding disorders, uncontrolled hypertension, and in elderly. Stopping abruptly can increase risk of thrombosis—do not discontinue without doctor advice. Inform doctor before any surgery/dental procedure. Not recommended in significant hepatic disease associated with coagulopathy; avoid if active pathological bleeding. Use caution with spinal/epidural anesthesia (risk of hematoma).
