Rosuvastatin (10mg) + Ezetimibe (10mg)
Management of high cholesterol (hypercholesterolaemia/mixed dyslipidaemia), reduction of elevated LDL-C and total cholesterol when diet and lifestyle measures are inadequate; to reduce risk of cardiovascular events in appropriate high-risk patients as advised by a doctor.
Rosuvastatin is a statin that inhibits HMG‑CoA reductase in the liver, reducing cholesterol synthesis and increasing LDL clearance from blood. Ezetimibe blocks intestinal absorption of cholesterol by inhibiting the NPC1L1 transporter, lowering cholesterol delivery to the liver. The combination provides additive LDL-lowering compared to either agent alone.
Take orally exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow tablet whole with water; continue diet/exercise measures. Do not stop or change dose without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Statpure Ez 10MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Prescription medicine. Risk of muscle injury (myopathy/rhabdomyolysis) increased with higher statin exposure—seek medical help for unexplained muscle pain/weakness, especially with fever or dark urine. Liver function abnormalities may occur; periodic LFT monitoring may be needed and avoid in active liver disease. Use caution in kidney impairment, hypothyroidism, elderly, and heavy alcohol use. Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Inform doctor about diabetes risk, previous statin intolerance, or liver disease; avoid grapefruit excess is more relevant to some statins (less for rosuvastatin) but follow clinician advice.
