Supergin Allergy 120 mg Tablet contains Fexofenadine hydrochloride 120 mg. It belongs to the Second-generation H1 antihistamine class of medicines.

How Supergin Allergy 120 mg Tablet works

Fexofenadine is a second-generation antihistamine. It blocks histamine (H1) receptors to reduce allergy symptoms like sneezing, itching and runny nose. It causes minimal drowsiness compared with older antihistamines.

How to take Supergin Allergy 120 mg Tablet

Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water. Avoid taking with fruit juices (apple/orange/grapefruit) and keep a gap of at least 2 hours from antacids containing aluminium or magnesium.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can cause severe drowsiness, a fast heartbeat, confusion and, in children, agitation and fits. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Do not take Supergin Allergy if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. The sedating antihistamines are not suitable for very young children, or for people with glaucoma or an enlarged prostate, without medical advice.

Interactions with other medicines

Antacids containing aluminium/magnesium (reduced absorption), fruit juices like grapefruit/orange/apple (reduced absorption), erythromycin, ketoconazole, ritonavir (may increase fexofenadine levels)

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from moisture and direct light. Keep in original blister and out of reach of children.
