How T-1-Z Eye Drops works

T 1 Z Eye Drop is a prostaglandin analogue. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor, thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

How to take T-1-Z Eye Drops

For ophthalmic use only. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye(s) as directed by the physician. Wash hands before use; avoid touching the dropper tip; keep a gap of 5–10 minutes between different eye drops; remove contact lenses if advised and reinsert after 15 minutes unless otherwise directed.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of T 1 Z Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from eye use; flush the eye with clean water if too much is instilled. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Side effects of T-1-Z Eye Drops

Most side effects of T-1-Z are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• temporary burning/stinging
• eye irritation
• redness
• watery eyes
• blurred vision
• itching

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Use only under ophthalmologist advice. Do not use if seal is broken or solution changes color/turns cloudy. Avoid contaminating the dropper tip. If pain, worsening redness, vision changes, severe irritation, or allergy occurs, stop use and seek medical help. Use with caution in pregnancy/breastfeeding and in children unless prescribed. Discard bottle 4 weeks after opening (or as per label).

How to store T-1-Z Eye Drops

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep bottle tightly closed.

Expert advice for T-1-Z Eye Drops

For best results, put one drop once a day in the evening/night in the affected eye(s). Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. T 1 Z Eye Drop may cause brown pigmentation of the iris. This discoloration may be permanent. Your eyelashes may become more dense, and eyelid skin may darken. These changes should disappear after discontinuing T 1 Z Eye Drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. T 1 Z Eye Drop helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss.
