Interactions with other medicines

Alcohol and other CNS depressants (benzodiazepines, sedatives, hypnotics, antipsychotics, other opioids), MAO inhibitors (contraindicated/avoid within 14 days), serotonergic drugs (SSRIs/SNRIs/TCAs/triptans/linezolid) and drugs affecting norepinephrine (risk of serotonin syndrome/adrenergic effects), strong CYP inducers/inhibitors may alter exposure, mixed agonist/antagonist opioids (may reduce effect/precipitate withdrawal)
