Terbinafine hydrochloride 1% w/v (10 mg/mL) topical spray
Treatment of fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris) and ringworm (tinea corporis); may also be used for other susceptible superficial fungal infections as advised by a doctor
Terbinafine is an allylamine antifungal that inhibits the enzyme squalene epoxidase in fungi. This blocks ergosterol synthesis and causes accumulation of squalene, leading to fungal cell death.
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then spray a thin layer to cover the lesion and a small surrounding margin. Use as prescribed (commonly once or twice daily) and continue for the full course even if symptoms improve. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin; wash hands after use.
