Treatment of Dry cough Treatment of Common cold
Toff-DC Tablet is a combination of three medicines: phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine maleate, and dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows the small blood vessels in the nose, providing relief from nasal congestion or stuffiness. Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antiallergic medicine that relieves symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Toff-DC Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Toff-DC Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Toff-Dc than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Take Toff-DC Tablet only for the duration advised by your doctor, usually until symptoms improve. Toff-DC Tablet may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Avoid alcohol or other sedative medicines while taking Toff-DC Tablet, as they may increase sleepiness. Dry mouth may occur; staying hydrated and including fiber in your diet may help. Stop and consult your doctor if you experience palpitations or severe headache. Stop taking Toff-DC Tablet and seek medical help if you develop rash, facial swelling, or difficulty breathing. Consult your doctor if cough lasts more than one week, keeps recurring, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache.
