How to take Torsid Plus 5/50 mg Tablet
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it in the morning. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Do not take potassium supplements or potassium-based salt substitutes with it unless your doctor has specifically told you to. Report muscle weakness, numbness or an irregular heartbeat — these can be signs potassium has risen too high. Breast tenderness or enlargement can occur in men; tell your doctor if it troubles you.

Interactions with other medicines
Anti-inflammatory painkillers blunt the effect and can strain the kidneys. Lithium and digoxin levels are affected; tell your doctor if you take either. Potassium-sparing types must not be combined with potassium supplements without supervision.
