Uses of Ursobile-450MG Tab

Dissolution of cholesterol gallstones (in selected patients), primary biliary cholangitis (primary biliary cirrhosis), cholestatic liver diseases with impaired bile flow

How it works

Ursodeoxycholic acid is a hydrophilic bile acid that reduces cholesterol saturation in bile by decreasing hepatic cholesterol secretion and improving bile composition. It also promotes bile flow and has cytoprotective effects on bile duct and liver cells, helping improve cholestasis and liver enzyme abnormalities.

Directions for use

Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, preferably with food or after meals to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew unless advised. Dose and duration depend on indication (e.g., gallstones/PBC) and body weight.
