Treatment of overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms such as urinary urgency, increased frequency of urination, and urge urinary incontinence
Tolterodine is an antimuscarinic medicine that blocks muscarinic receptors in the bladder detrusor muscle. This reduces involuntary bladder contractions, increases bladder capacity, and helps control urgency and frequency.
Take as prescribed by the doctor. Usually taken orally with water, with or without food, at the same time each day. Do not crush or chew unless advised; swallow whole.
