Vesolfy Nasal Spray/Drops is used for relief of nasal congestion due to common cold, allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and sinusitis (blocked nose).
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Nasal decongestant drops/spray work by constricting swollen blood vessels in the nasal lining, reducing swelling and mucus. This opens the nasal passages and improves airflow.
For intranasal use only. Clear the nose, keep head upright, place nozzle/dropper just inside nostril and apply as directed, then wipe the tip and recap. Usually used 2–3 times daily for short duration only (do not use continuously for more than 3–5 days unless advised by a doctor).
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Vesolfy Nasal Spray/Drops as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Vesolfy Nasal Spray/Drops than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Vesolfy Nasal Spray/Drops are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Do not exceed recommended dose or duration; prolonged use may cause rebound nasal congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa). Use with caution in hypertension, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, enlarged prostate, glaucoma, and in children/elderly. Avoid if allergic to any ingredient. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist beyond a few days, are severe, or if there is fever/facial pain. Keep away from eyes; do not share the bottle to prevent spread of infection.
MAO inhibitors (and within 14 days of use), tricyclic antidepressants, other decongestants/sympathomimetics; caution with antihypertensives due to possible reduced effect.
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
