Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Vilfuro G Capsule contains Vilanterol (25mcg) + Fluticasone Furoate (100mcg) + Glycopyrronium (50mcg).
Treatment of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Vilfuro-G Capsule is a combination of three drugs: vilanterol, fluticasone furoate, and glycopyrronium. Vilanterol works by relaxing and opening air passages in the lungs. Fluticasone is in a class of medications called steroids. It works by reducing swelling in the airways. Glycopyrronium reduces airway secretions and relaxes the muscles around the airways in your lungs, making it easier to breathe.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Vilfuro-G Capsule, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.
Taking more Vilfuro G than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Vilfuro G are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Store Vilfuro G below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Rinsing your mouth after using Vilfuro-G Capsule helps prevent oral infections from occurring. Routine doctor visits help monitor lung function and adjust treatment if needed. Quit smoking to help improve lung health and medication effectiveness. Ensure Vilfuro-G Capsule is stored in a safe place to avoid accidental misuse, especially in households with young children.
