Uses of Voglistar Plus 0.3 Tab

Type 2 diabetes mellitus: to improve glycaemic control in adults when diet and exercise alone or monotherapy is inadequate; helps control post-meal (postprandial) and fasting blood glucose

• •Improves insulin sensitivity and lowers fasting glucose
• •Helps achieve better HbA1c control
• •Weight-neutral or modest weight benefit compared to some agents
• •Suitable add-on therapy when single drug is insufficient

How it works

Voglibose inhibits intestinal alpha‑glucosidase enzymes, delaying digestion and absorption of carbohydrates and reducing post‑meal glucose spikes. Metformin decreases hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity, leading to better overall blood sugar control.

Directions for use

Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, usually with meals. Voglibose works best when taken at the start of a main meal. Swallow whole (do not crush/chew if SR/ER). Follow diet and exercise advice and monitor blood glucose regularly.
